Every Contribution Counts

Pian Upe is a national asset in active restoration. The work is real, the progress is measurable, and the need for continued investment is clear. Every contribution, philanthropic, institutional, or a visit, supports a reserve, a partnership, the communities of Karamoja, and a model that matters far beyond its borders.

Visit

The most direct
way to help.

Coming to Pian Upe is one of the most direct ways to support the reserve. Visitor fees contribute to the reserve's operational budget and UWA's institutional conservation mandate, spending in local communities generates direct economic benefit, and the presence of engaged visitors reinforces the case for conservation as a viable economic model for Karamoja.
